For those with pinhole or slightly larger leaks

Been Around the Block
I was able to successfully solder my two leaky tanks using a Wen 450 watt soldering iron, silver solder (Bernzomatic brand for metal work) and flux. The tank was drained and left open for a month. I've also read that it needn't be drained fully, but I wasn't willing to try that route. There was even a good sized hole. About 1/8" across. Was able to bridge the solder to seal it.

I should say, this is silver bearing solder. Unsure of the percentage, but it states its for metal work. 430F melting point.
