Any creative types in the room? Paint scheme road block...

Been Around the Block
I have a light metallic root beer Brown in the same color family as the grips and the seat. I'm going to use it as an accent color on the tank and seat but the design I was going to do just doesn't seem to work now that I have the tank and seat on the bike. I was going to do about a 1-inch strip along the bottom of the tank and the seat but it just doesn't look the same as it did in my mind. Can anybody help me and throw together a paint or photoshop paint scheme of a nice way to use that brown color to accent with? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

What about stripes down the middle of the top?

Great pipes btw, are those modified stock?

Going along with finn's idea, I think a two stripe scheme would look great. What about a thin stripe in line with the center and then a fatter stripe offset so that the edge just clears to the left of the center stripe, looking at the tail?

Building on advCo's idea, a fat, center stripe would work well, with offset thin stripe. If you'd be willing to add a third colour to the job, using a real fat white stripes (4", maybe)? as a background with the fat/thin root beer stripe combo on top...the white would really make it pop!

Alternately, you could pull your tank badges, paint them with the brown and then polish up "Honda". Very subtle, very clean and it uses your brown as an accent.

And, +1 on the pipes: very slick looking!

Well guys, sorry for taking so long to reply it's been busy. Well, here's ultimately what I came up with and did...
Now to get the seat upholstered and mounted and I'll almost be ready to go...

It looks quite good but theres not enough contrast between the colors for my taste. Some silver pinstripe tape might really make it pop if you've already clearcoated.

Lovely bike btw.

I second advco and the third colour addition to make the contrast and tie the two principle colours together, maybe silver or an off white/cream? Take it easy though, too much white/cream could make it touch gaudy.
