I hauled T bones, baked potatoes, a handle of rum, 2 sixers of beer, salad dressing, A1 sauce and my smiling ass on my beemer and attached panniers this evening. Yuppie bike maybe, but I've never done that on my cafe racers.

Salad dressing was probably an unnecessarily gentrified addition to the list. I would have left that off.

My wife made me get it. That and I needed something to dip my pizza rolls in.

There is an isolation washer on the underside of one of the bolts of the brush holder on the stator. The entire charging system will not work without that washer.

However, all is good now. Charging system is all revved up and ready to go.

Awsome, I did get a half hour ride with the wife on the GL inbetween projects. I don't think I will ever get to ride with my old man but I hope to get to ride with my son in about 5 years.

Picked up a nice replacement speedo for the slash 5.
