People ride with vertical plates...but I guess there is a risk of getting a ticket. Not really enforced. However, it would give a cop a reason for pulling you over.
well, the rear-most part of my 650 will be the rear tire. So maybe I wrap it around in the vertical position, put a strobe light under the seat and have it timed such that it fires off in synch with the rear tire rotation, making it look like my plate is always just in the right spot
