Wish I could take credit for the exhaust. Its for a monkey bike that I obtained from a seller in china via ebay. Fits nice but it is very very loud. My neighbors don't like it lol
Nice Mike, I always liked those things. Ohh and BTW it looks to have the same engine mounts as a Z50, so you should you feel the need for speed, a 160 will fit easy. Last I looked there were 200cc coming out as well.
Fair enough. I'm probably overly-sensitive to that crap with a baby in the house... that and every Hardly Davidson douchebag within a 5 mile radius likes to drive down my street (the only two-way street for blocks) with their throttle wide open and their cocks flapping in the breeze.

I hear you. I've got 2 small kids myself and live on a 25mph residential road. A few years back we had a pack of sport bike "riders" that like to hit triple digits and catch air over the rise just past my house. I threatened a few with a katana and it's been quiet ever since.
I hear you guys but I gotta say I have a love hate relationship with loud exhaust. Both the mad ass and my 1980 Harley Sportster are loud and I love opening them up but I try to keep the full throttle rips to more desolated areas. My Ural on the other hand has a nice quiet exhaust it's no wonder that it's the favored bike for both my 5 year old and all my neighbors. But I guess I'm just getting old and that's enough of that lets see some more cool small cc motorcycles.
Went for a nice Ozark Mountains twisty ride today. My buddy could not keep up on his Stella but the gorilla was running super strong in the cool weather today.
Just picturing some frustrated guy like me trying to decide what to chrome and what to paint, throwing up his hands in defeat scream "f*ck it, just PAINT EVERYTHING!"
Actually it's kinda cool. Guy I work with brought over his '72 Kawasaki G3SS for me to "restore" for him. It was his bike as a kid that he pulled out of his Grand-Dads barn after the old Gent passed away. After I checked over, seized engine, both wheels locked up and severly rusted stem to stern... I told him it would cost more to get it running than it would be worth. So he goes and picks up ANOTHER and drops it off!
Now I am seeing double!
Second one is in much better shape mechanically with half the miles. I ought to be able to get him a decent little ride of the two.
Love this thread, and just had 2 show u my first moped ever.
It is a Tempo Panther 360 from 1971 (50cc).
Been in my shed for the last 24.years
Its produced in Norway with a german sachs engine in it(bulletproof)
Problem is I don't know "Poop from Pork-n-Bearns" about 'em... whaddya mean it fires every revolution... and it's designed to burn oil? How in the Hell is that gonna work?!
Gotta love DTT! ;D
