My seat came with a worn out aftermarket cover so I wasn't able to use it as a guild and my question is..........was there a cover design change sometime during the model year.....say.....between bike #1000001 and 1001800? I bought an aftermarket one with the correct texture, piping and seam across the top at the back or at least I hope it represents the initial release seat. I am seeing pictures of what appear to be original seats with and without the seam and now am attempting to ascertain which is correct or if both are. Keep an open mind to what you believe to be the truth, with these early Honda's some cosmetic changes were made without a change in the part number.
