Aircraft wheel pant/fairings for use as a cool Cafe/race tail section?

Been Around the Block
Every now and then when I'm out at an auction,at Goodwill,a local salvage/scrap yard or just looking through some old magazines/books I try to look for neat, unique or odd stuff that i could maybe use for something else so...that brings me to Aircraft wheel pants.

I have thought of modifying/cutting and using these before, but haven't tried it before.
Anyone here ever use them? I would think you could pick up used/old one or two nobody wanted pretty cheap.

These are on e-bay and not cheap(they are though as far as wheel pants go),but they are hand-made,very high quality composite with molded-in clear coat etc.
Man,what a shape the front would make for a tail section for a bike!
Maybe someone here could even photo shop a seat shape out of the pics?
I would ,but I can barely navigate the net let alone do something useful! ;D
I guess the rear could even be used if you were into the Art-Deco,Rocket Ranger look or you are just weird! ;)

Here's a couple more and I'm sure some, especially if they only have ONE could be bought cheap and save some of us fab work to boot!

For those that want to bang out your own cool wheel pant shapes/bum-stop out of aluminum this could be a useful video.

Cool, I can see doin somethin cool with those... but the cost isn't necessarily any better than buying a fiberglass seat off e-bay.

Agreed, the cost would not be much different, but I actually prefer the shape of the Aero ones like the blue ones compared to most of the after market fiberglass motorcycle seat available. So,even if it's a wash cost wise you would have a more unique tail piece for your custom built bike.
If you modify one of those it's a pretty sure bet that not too many other cafe/race bikes would have the same type of tail piece.
