That is an interesting concept.

In a cruel twist of fate, everyone that donated to Stormy's GoFundMe, essentially donated money to pay for Trump's legal fees that she has to pay.

In other news, Elizabeth Warren released DNA results to prove she is Native American. She is 1/1024 Native American. 0.097% Native American. Less than one tenth of one percent. The average European-American is 0.18% Native American. The Cherokee Nation released a statement bashing her last night or this a.m., can't remember which.

That is only for a defamation lawsuit. It has nothing to do with her lawsuit against Trump over the nondisclosure agreement.

So let's call them Horseface and Pocahontas? What an utterly disgraceful day, and some people think it's a good time to gloat.

As Irk points out, it's only the defamation lawsuit, by a porn star who Trump paid off after he had sex with her -- with a supposedly small and misshapen organ -- without a condom (does he already have herpes?). So he paid someone for sex who he thinks is ugly?

Not sure where you get your news, but I think I have an idea. Reputable sources are showing that the test reveals 1/64 to 1/1026, which is between 6 and 10 generations, consistent with her "family lore."

Trump is now trying to chintz out on a bet (proceeds going to charity). That's not a big surprise either.

The man is unfit for office. Unless you think this kind of behavior is presidential? Some people do, and continue to laud this kind of behavior.

I wish that there was a way to block this thread from "unread" in Tapatalk. None of you are going to change anyone's opinions or votes with this.

It looks like Reps are beating the drumb on social cuts due to the balooning debt payments. It's a good think all those elderly and retired people got tax cuts because they'll need it when they lose Medicaid and social security.

Re: "the Mooch"

Lol. I laughed way too hard at this.

Trump is making moves to pull us out of an international postal deal.

I dig it. China pays roughly $0.20 on the dollar to ship stuff here. It costs me $72 to ship a box over there. They sell something for $0.99, and ship it for free, and the government subsidizes their shipping on it.

Imo, this is how you hurt China, more-so than the tariffs. Make it to where the government can't afford to subsidize their shipping.

I know a guy, who is in RV refrigeration. He has started buying his units from China. $73 and some change built and shipped to his door, per unit. When he ships them to shops all over the US, over $100 in shipping per.

That is spot on. Shipping from China is ridiculously cheap . I like it when I am buying titanium bolts and electronic but it makes absolutely no sense.

In reality though that leaves me with too choices if/when that postage charge rises. I will be able to pay more for things to no advantage to the US economy or I can do without because they are just not available at any price. So again that helps me to stop spending on things I can't afford but doesn't help the US economy. For example I can buy folding footpegs for next to nothing from China but from a US supplier they are many times more expensive, so a small increase for freight is a small penalty for me to spend more on Chinese products so I end up wit less cash to spend locally.

Or I decide the old footpegs I have in a box under the bench are good enough and I have a little more cash to save or spend locally. Glad I'm not an economist trying to work out the impact of these things. Mind you, the economists I know that used to work that stuff out no longer work for this administration because Trump wasn't interested in facts. It's an odd world we live in.

What's the flip side of that, though? Just keep letting China bend us over, because they were allowed to start?

I understand there will be some pain involved for some, but, do you trade some short term pain for the betterment of the US, or not?

I lean towards doing so.

The postal situation certainly does need sorting.

Just from an environmental standpoint it's preposterous, then factor in the economic side and it's just plain stupid.

I agree that it has to change. I was just exploring some of the complexities of the possible changes. Having basically open borders on imports via China Post is not a viable model.

Bombs, or simulated bombs, sent to the Clintons, Obamas, Soros, CNN, Eric Holder, Maxine Waters. I wonder whose rhetoric encouraged that? And only days after siding with the man most likely responsible for the killing of a journalist in Turkey, then loudly proclaiming "I'm a nationalist."

Anyone see the report that Trump refuses to give up his personal (unsecured) I-phones despite his aides pressuring him not to use them, and that the Chinese are definitely listening in and then working his contacts? Great part of that report was that the Russians could too, but they already feel as though they have him figured out and that he's shown enough affinity for them.

I'll hold off on commenting on this until someone is apprehended for it.
