Knocked this out tonight, all from scrap off a job site. Just need to install some cleats for the front wheel.

Considering the ridiculous stoutness, I'd say quite well haha.

You'll be fine with 2x4s and ply.

I love it though

How much weight do you think 2x4's would support?
I guess if you built it like you would a deck with 4x4 corner posts you should be fine.

You can see mine here:

It supports a bike and two people without issue.

Perfectly- Its very stout!
I would not hesitate to roll my 700+ pound Road King on it- put it that way- you wont ever break this

Got a 1981 KZ440 LTD to turn into a Cafe. Decided I needed a workbench for the project. Saw some options to buy that were $350 to $500. So built my own for $100.

Yes. Got heavy weight casters with good brakes. Needed to be able to pull it into middle of my garage while I work on the bike, then push it to the side so that my wife can park her car in garage at night. Keeping Momma happy with place for her car means no grief about all the hours I spend in the garage!

Looks like yours has casters on it. Good addition or no?

Casters are a great addition. I have some on mine...theyre great. Allow you to move the bike aside if other work comes along.

You make them to suit the project.

A longer term project for the winter gets it's own stand.

A very long term project gets a rolling stand with the, in this case, the fromt end damage accessible.
