I swapped the rear on my Yamaha TR1 for a CB750K '79 and put on a 5" rim with a 170/55 tire. I have everything lined up, but am now considering what to do about the brake anchor plate stay/arm (not sure the correct name, torque arm maybe?) as it no longer clears the wheel. I need about 2 cm to clear it in on the hub side of things and about 1 cm on the front.
Has anyone seen someone doing pre-made arms with offset or has some tips on how to best fabricate on myself that isn't likely to bend when I brake? I'm a little hesitant trying to bend the original arm as it's some round tubing and I do need quite a bit of offset.
