Fellow Half Fast Chicago member (and good friend of mine) Shane built this WICKED SL350 dirtbike bobber deal-e-o almost 2 years ago now and is finally getting it to the point where it has become a reliable scoot.
He purchased the bike as a literally basketcase that some redneck tried to build ---->
Once he got it back to Chicago and in our hands we tore it down, and grafted a Triumph weld on hardtail to the stock SL350 front half of the frame (not easy and we all swore we would never do it again)--->
After that alittle paint work, some new bars, minimal exhaust, and he has himself a scoot that turns more heads than anything I have seen --->
And how the bike currently sits. He is now talking about doing a lowered/inverted dirtbike front end with a 23'' wheel and dual discs over the winter (we shall see):
Check out the FULL buildup of the scoot here --->
