interesting angle on the rear shocks and gear change with right foot?

If you’re talking about the rg500, the rear shocks are laid down nearly as low as possible so that the angle change on compression is larger than if they were more upright. This gives a progressive spring and damping rate.

Interesting how they mover the shift cam higher in the cases, better ground clearance for the front chambers maybe?

..I need a bit of ringadingding in my life

Everyone needs a little ringadingding in their lives!

Just be careful of the addiction, one minute your 16 and trying to revive your uncles old t500, the next minute you are on a 16h round trip to pick up the third or fourth one.

I picked this up in early July. 1972 Kawasaki MT1 / KV75.

Needs a few items, but runs great. It's making a fun little cottage toy for now, but couldn't help myself ---had to sand some of the wretched blue flame paint off the exhaust heat shield, chainguard, rear fender and headlight, and start cleaning it up a little. This winter it'll be taken apart, cleaned, repainted in it's original glorious orange, and of course brought back the cottage.

Not quite "dream garage" material, but boys and their toys eh?
