'83 Hondamatic ignition components

Greetings, everyone,

I'm working on a cm450 that's been sitting for a long while and while I got it to turn over, I'm not getting spark. All of the ignition components appear to be in pretty bad shape. I think the coil should be replaced as a matter of course, which is easy enough to find replacements, but the ignition box, cdi, seems more elusive.

Can anyone recommend a source for an aftermarket replacement? I think the best bet may be for a totally new ignition system but I'm trying to keep the owner's repair bill as low as I can.

Anyway, any help is appreciated.

Read the full item description, though. The seller runs through the tests for your stator. If the stator fails the tests, a new CDI box won't help.

The stators can be hard to find, so keep an eye out if you do have a problem.
