I have been working on this for about a year and getting close to end. Custom frame, duplicate of original HB1.
CB750 engine. CB750 hubs. Rest is custom.
Bimota HB1 was Bimota's first bike. Only one complete bike was made and 9 kits which consisted mainly of frame, swing arm, tank, seat, and oil tank. Frame built on CB750

This is an original HB1
I'll have a version with the Carbon fiber unpainted with red frame and one painted as original.

Great build. Any plans to go with the GL front end with aluminum GL1000 rims like that Bimota has? It's such an easy upgrade.

The Ceriani forks on the front are likely far superior in technology and metallurgy vs the GL units and are more at home on a build like this. He already has nice aluminum rims as well, likely 18's front and rear instead of the 19/17 GL combo.

Of course. I need to learn how to ID Ceriani forks. Thanks.

Deviant, no need to feel bad. Not a lot of people would recognize those new Ceriani style modern forks. The look is very Ceriani but the damping is all modern. Top shelf stuff on an amazing build.

Your absolutely correct. The Ceriani are new forks and fully tuneable not to mention new Brembo period F08.
Disc are matched with hubs machined symetrical with custom mounts.
Excel rims and yes they are 18" front and rear.

More work done

Really nice work! Do you have any plans to offer a "kit" much like Bimota did.
