    Nov 16, 2018, 12:00:34
  • advCo: Found a shop to do it on the spot, waited there 3 hours, then got on the road and almost immediately blew a tire on the concrete mixer I was towing LOL

    Nov 16, 2018, 12:29:36
  • Hurco550: The auto tec program here at the school is replacing the leaky one, but it wont be long until they all go. It seems like when one goes, the rest arent far behind
    Nov 16, 2018, 12:31:19
  • advCo: Yep. Check your fuel lines, too. My dad just had to do all the brake lines and fuel lines in my sister's '00 Accord
    Nov 16, 2018, 12:36:14
  • Hurco550: im thinking about fixing this brake line and trying to get something newer again. I'm afraid this thing is getting really close to nickle and dime to death territory, and i need something i can jump in and drive to georgia at any time
    Nov 16, 2018, 12:37:48
  • Kamn: Morning Gents, get all the lines replaced with galvanized lines.
    Nov 16, 2018, 12:38:11
  • advCo: Yep. I did that with mine. The brake lines went, fuel lines were next, needed a clutch so I traded it in on a 2011
    Nov 16, 2018, 12:39:14
  • advCo: Morning Kamn
    Nov 16, 2018, 12:40:34

  • advCo: Slow as hell at work, hoping to leave early this afternoon to go pick up the new to me 60 gal compressor
    Nov 16, 2018, 12:41:47

    Nov 16, 2018, 12:43:21
  • Kamn: you'll enjoy the capacity
    Nov 16, 2018, 12:44:50
  • advCo: Yeah thats mostly what I'll use it for, some occasional paint work and air tools
    Nov 16, 2018, 12:46:15
  • advCo: Guy is asking $250 for it. I'll sell my HF 2.5 hp 21 gal for $100 and be doing pretty well
    Nov 16, 2018, 12:49:25
  • Kamn: I was hoping to get a mail delivery today of a coil module for an Ignition upgrade to a CX (hall effect ignition) because 1 of the 2 that came with it shit the bed just after firing it up, this bike has been sitting here since end of Aug. I want this thing gone from here
    Nov 16, 2018, 12:52:12

    Nov 16, 2018, 12:53:37

    Nov 16, 2018, 13:31:48
  • irk miller: I wonder why and when they went to steel brake lines.  My 79 is all copper.
    Nov 16, 2018, 13:59:20
  • irk miller: Well, copper when it's not rubber hose.
    Nov 16, 2018, 13:59:49
  • advCo: Cheaper
    Nov 16, 2018, 14:00:28
  • Maritime: 80's they went steel and they started to rust. all the GM's we had from 84-90 had every hose, brake fuel and coolant rust off and none covered by warranty, why we never bought another GM sisnce
    Nov 16, 2018, 14:01:11

  • Maritime: my buddy just looked for f/r rotors and pads for his subabru, quoted 850 local rockauto 350 + 40 shipping to maine.
    Nov 16, 2018, 14:42:46
  • advCo: Yep, I am going to get a lot of brake/suspension parts for the Bus from there. Only problem is the shipping from different warehouses can add up quick
    Nov 16, 2018, 14:43:56
  • Maritime: it can sometimes. but I find even then it's cheaper than ebay and other car sites like autozone, napa, oriellys etc.
    Nov 16, 2018, 14:48:08
  • advCo: Yeah. I think you can try to choose parts from the same warehouse too to keep shipping down
    Nov 16, 2018, 14:54:56
