I am enjoying it. I sometimes wonder if I shouldn't have gotten the R Nine T instead though, as the community and aftermarket for the 1100 seems based on the geezer cruiser crowd. I bought this in the hopes of having a cafe inspired modern bike. I still love the bike, just wish I could do more with it. I suppose custom is the best option no matter what.
Dude, I think your bike looks GREAT. I think "cafe inspired modern" fits. I'd ride it. I think I'd change the bars though. That's it. Lol.

The two Honda don't look like much but both run great. The GT750 not so much.

Wife found it at Ross or Target I think. Was going to use it in my classroom (I teach Jr. High Science) but it didn't work out. Now it holds small items, old magazines, sand paper, stuff like that.

Is that a 72 GT750 by any chance? If so they are the best looking barrels IMHO. They are not hard to port but take a really long time to take out all that surplus metal.

Oddly enough, that seat is exactly the shape I was aiming for with my last GT750 project that morphed into a Dunstall and still isn't finished.

Yep the closer one is a 72 the farther one is a 74. Got the 74 for the cases (the 72 threw a chain and busted the case) and the 72 came with the bike. The seat was done by the PO who wanted to cafe the bike but lost interest and sold it.
