Been Around the Block
I have come to realize that I need the money more than a fancy set of blingy rims on my Kz so I'm putting my Carrozzeria Vstar wheels up for sale. These would make an absolute great addition to your bike if your going for a AC Sanctuary/Bulldock style build which is why I bought them in the first place. (BTW, these look stunning in a Zrx swingarm)
I bought these on eBay and they were suppose to be mounted but never used. I believe that as the rims are almost flawless (one very minor scratch on the rear wheel). They do have wheel weights on them and show signs of having tires on them at one point.
They were setup for an older GPz550 and have custom brake carriers for that rotor. However, the front hub is the same bolt pattern as a Zx6/7/9/11 brake rotor without the carrier. The rear wheel is missing the cush drive (~$240) and will need a brake carrier for whatever rotor you plan on running (I have not quoted a replacement from Carrozzeria as I was planning on making my own).
Wheels are 17x3.5" F and 17x5.5" R. There are spacer/bushings to sleeve down the front axle to 17mm but the bearings in both wheels are 20mm ID. The front wheel DOES have provision for a speedo drive unit.
They rear uses a ZX9/12 sprocket for the bolt pattern.
I'm asking $1200 for the set plus shipping. If I get the asking price, I will throw a set of 310mm Zx9 front rotors, a rear Gsxr 220mm Galfer Wave rotor, and a 41T Zx9 OEM rear sprocket in for free.
Located just outside St Louis, MO.
Let me know!
