Have a cb200 & am looking to rig up some rearsets here in Ontario Canada. Will the bike pass the safety?

I don't know about Canada, but a safety inspection for motorcycles in the states doesn't specify anything about rear or forward controls, as long as they're there
 
surely the authorities aren't savvy enough to know what is and isn't original for a bike of any vintage?
 
you shouldnt have any problems... unless canada has some weird rules. only rule about any controls in the U.S. is that handlesbars cannot exceed shoulder height. nothing about peg placement.
