Modification of the Month - October 2014

Haven't done this in a while, so I figured we'd give it a go again.

Rules as basically the same as bike of the month, except you're nominating and voting on a single modification detailed on these forums.

Nominations must include a link to the mod/build and a picture of the completed modification. Nominations must be seconded, but do not need to be accepted (they can be rejected, though).

Nominations last until four modifications have been seconded or until the end of September.

Winner gets a DTT Mod of the Month sticker.

Found an rm 80 on the side of a house in tall grass negotiated $100 for it ....got it running.... Took her down the street hot sun etc ....brake locked up....Arm Modified

I feel you.
I modified my foot last night with a foot peg
Also modified the handlebars with my stomach, they bent into a really interesting shape. Was tough to ride the bike home haha

I'm just tring to get the ball rolling not to be in the running I did this last night and there is no build thread for the bike

Although, now that he has it on a dolly I think he's really just building a go-cart ;D Either way awesome work. If it is a go-cart, I'm sure he'll end up with some injury that will top Sonic's foot. :)

Actually, now I'm wondering if it even qualifies as a modification? Its not really a mod to his bike, but for his bike. Awesome all the same.

Feel free to decline this nom if you feel it doesn't qualify.
 
Don't we have another Thing of the month category for shop tools? That thing is killer though.

Hope so. Karts are a hoot. Especially with a decent bike engine in them. I put an XS650 in a kart years ago. Had more fun that was morally right. Sold it and regretted it the next day.
