Electrical help needed........turn signal issues

Ran into a bizarre problem today with my turn signals. Just rewired my bike today (cb175) and after some trouble shooting and some ground issues i got all the lights to work, but could not get my turns to blink. What ever side i put the indicator on that corresponding side would just stay lit but not flash. Could this be an issue with the flasher relay? I also have to add that i only have the rear turn signals hooked up, dont know if that has anything to so with it.

Your flasher relay may differ, but mine requires a certain amount of resistance (ie both front and rear bulbs) to flash. This also precludes the use of LED units without inline resistors. However, all of this is only an issue with the stock relay.

Thanks for the info man. The tails I have are some of those LED turns and brakes all in one, im pretty sure it has a built in resistor. Ill go buy some front turns and take it from there. thanks again
