Well I am about to embark on my K7 cafe build and have been spending several weeks in the evenings reading many posts getting ideas. I've pretty well settle on the style of seat/cowl I like and determined what mechanical/electrical changes are needed.
One of the mods I'd like to do is close the fuel tank lid on my K7 tank and install a monza style gas cap. With this in mind, I am looking for some advice as to if it is just a matter of welding the existing lid to the tank and installing the gas cap.
Any advice and/or pointers would greatly be appreciated.
