Yeah, John Britten was an exceptional man wasn't he. I find it unbelievable that he did it all in his garage at home, after reading how to do those things. Like Bert Munroe before him, he really had the Kiwi attitude and had fun doing it. My Mom sent me a picture from a NZ newspaper years ago, before his death, of John and the V1000, and the caption above said it all. " The man who conquered the world with fencing wire and a glue gun". That picture still hangs above my work bench, as inspiration, and because it still makes me proud to be a Kiwi.
