Hi I Know which rings go on the bottom ring but I cannot figure out which one is the top ring. one ring is just a black ring with no special bevels, chamfers, ect.. the other ring has a chamfer on the outside of the ring on the top and bottom.

thanks!

The chamfered ring will be the second ring, also known as the wiper or scraper ring. The purpose of the chamfer is to increase the pressure exerted on the cylinder wall. If it is truly equally chamfered top and bottom, it cannot be installed upside down, however if this is not the case it will need to be installed in a certain orientation. Some rings have tiny letters or dots on them, these always face up. Be sure to check installed ring gap, and correcly clock the rings so you dont get blow by.
