cb200 back to the cafe "lola"

Re: cb200 back to the cafe "lola"

So front calliper may be a tad big. Any suggestions on a smaller one that may suit.

How about a smaller twin piston Brembo such as the ones used on the rear of many Ducati twins? There are some truly tiny rear calipers around, but a regular sized Brembo rear would probably fit.

Like this one teazer? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F162966437510

I may also have to get a mount like this made up as one that fits on the front left fork is becoming hard to find.

I also found a pic of this brembo caliper any idea what it’s off?

I have one like the ebay link and it's probably too small, but with the right M/C it might work.

That center pic looks like the caliper than is still sold by Grimeca and looks like a Lockheed CP2696 unit. The bottom one looks more like what I was thinking of. Brembo and Grimeca made simple twin piston front calipers too that were fitted to a number of Italian bikes.

Thank you mate I just purchased the F08 one think she will work a treat. That means I won’t have to muck around to much with mounting her too. Cheers.

Re: cb200 back to the cafe "lola"

Due to a timing chain issue. Aka I bought the wrong one, it was solid and not broken link. I had to fully rebuild my engine today with the patients and guidance of a good friend.

Here is how we went.

I was going to repaint it then I thought stuff it let’s just ride it.

Quick mock up

Pipes cut and wrapped

Muffler was too rusty to use

Some light exhaust flanges

Clutch lever on now to put her back together.

Re: cb200 back to the cafe "lola"

So I found a caliper that works for the front hydraulic conversion. Yamaha r150 I think Honda use a similar one on the cb125. Just need to make up a bracket.
