Mind showing what hot glue gun/equipment you using?
I'd like to try some of that on a bunch of stuff I have all dented up around here.

It’s the cheapest and crappiest little hot glue from hobby lobby or dollar general. The wife used it for a project w daughter.
It came prepackaged w,the glue sticks. Like this...

I cleaned the polish/wax off tank w alcohol swab.
Just be sure to give the glue enough time to cool off. It don’t stick as well if it’s still warm-ish.

Preparations to finish the front end tonight.
Cleaning earlier, I found the back sides of the headlight ears are pretty susceptible to rusting.
I brushed a couple coats of SS epoxy. Once headlight is installed not noticeable.
Haha, found I missed cleaning and painting headlamp bucket.
Now waiting for that to dry. :
Got exhaust buttoned up w fresh innards and such...
The good news, scored a decent deal on a better rear fender today...fingers crossed.
