resistor/flasher turn signal replacement

so i need to replace my flashers on my 81 kz650 csr
i have turn signals with filament bulbs and OEM style flashers i want to replace the flashers with the slim newer style flashers for LED turn signals
will it work as long as it has the required electrical specs?
and yes i know the obvious answer
just update the turn signals to LED's
but i prefer the ones i have now
and id rather not spend another 60 on a new set when i recently purchased this one

An electronic flasher designed to work with LED's will work with incandescent turn signals also. The thing about the electronic flashers is that they do not require a specific load in order to work properly.
