CG125 Engine Casing - Bolt Size?

Right,

So I've come round to replacing the clutch on my 81 cg, and having to drill some of the casing bolts out has left me in a deficit of bolts. Well I say bolts, they're the type with the Phillips head and are awful to say the least!

Anyway to cut a long story short, I'm hoping that one of you kind people can tell me the size of the bolts needed for the engine casing, whether they're M6 or M5 bolts? Oh and I know ebay do 'engine dress ups kits' but didn't fancy forking out £40 for a set of bolts when I could just buy some new stainless Allen head bolts and be done with it.

Thanks Guys!

Tom

Is the CG125 the same as the CB/CL125 engine.
Alloyboltz.com has SS socket bolt kits for about $20.

Good luck finding those, try 6x1.00, works much better ;)
Engine is similar enough that CB/XL 125 bolt kit should work, you may even have some spares

Dont suppose any of you know the length of the side casing bolts of the top of your head?

Tom.

No worries guys they were 40mm with one 45mm bolt just above centrifugal oil filter.

I'll make sure they have an ample lathering with moly grease before these ones go back in!
