Thanks for all the help so far...Rebuilt the starter clutch and now it startsfine. Also rebuilt carbs, put new spark plugs, and put new air filters on bike. Planning on changing oil as soon as i can get plug off bottom.
Bike is starting now, but after parking it, i noticed it was incredibly hot and was smoking. Here are a couple of videos. Any ideas what's wrong?

I do notice that the key was still in the ON position.
When left in the ON position, one of the points contacts may be closed. This causes one of the coils to be energized. This can overheat and damage the coil and will drain your battery.

You should turn the key to the OFF position after running.

+1. Probably just be burning the leaking oil off the engine. Also, could be overheating due to something being jacked up with the carbs creating a lean condition. Since you messed w the carbs...I would look there after cleaning engine and fixing oil leaks. Do a couple plug chops and see if they turn bright white at any particular rpm.

Checking temps at the header close to the collars, my 360 runs tween 580-630 degrees fahrenheit. I Dont recall the average head temp close to the plugs. Maybe 250-320 f ? ::) Or look for a glowing header pipes.
