What is the best Honda bike to buy, for a platform, rareness etc?

-What do you think is the best Honda bike, if you had a lot of money $10k + to buy whatever you wanted and do a custom or restoration what motorcycle would it be?

-Some say the cb/cl 450 is the best, but its not that popular because its rare and hard to find parts and they are expensive.

-The cb/ cl 350 is quite common and easy to find parts, and good support and good info and write ups.

-The cb/ cl 750 is very fast. But some say it lack the "cafe" cosmetic appeal because it has "too much engine" and doesnt quite have the nimbleness of the smaller bikes.

-550, cx 500, cb 77, 350f, xl125 then we have the two stroke enduro types etc.
I also realise there is no "best" and to each his own.

10k to buy something and make it amazing? well, thats easy. I'd buy a CBX

inline 6
looks awesome
rare
sounds amazing
did i mention inline 6?

I know it would fall into your "too much engine" category that the 750 fell into, but damn, its hot!

Bradj, but what have you invented? Please just drop it and stay out. You will not get a reaction like your looking for out of me.

Why does it have to be a Honda? I'd be looking at a Z1 or GS1000 for that kind of money. Far better bikes out of the box and plenty of racing experience = tons of aftermarket go-fast bits.

I'd get a cheap VFR750 and try to make it into a replica RC30.

You could also find a mint RVF400 for around half of your 'budget'.

Some pretty strange comments indeed for a company that just sold their 300,000,000th motorcycle. Sure, there were POS's, like say, the bike that revolutionized motorcycling, the CB 750; the V65, another turd for sure, the NSR500, I guess that one only won ten championships because everyone else was having an "off" season.
Bradj, your bikes are beautiful. Which parts on them are the invented ones?
