Baking Appliance Epoxy

Hey guys. This is my first post. I appreciate all the info on this forum...there are some talented folks on here.
I'm about to paint my headlight bucket that I modified. I'm using black appliance epoxy. I know it doesn't have to bake, but has anyone tried baking it to get a faster cure time?
If so, did it affect the shine? How bad did it smell (I'd be using my home oven)?

There is some body filler on the headlight bucket if that affects anyone's recommendation
Thanks!

I wouldn't bake with much temp due to the filler, but I bake my metal parts around 300 and it comes out nice, smooth and glossy.

I would not bake anything with filler. It expands and shrinks at different rates compared to metal. Also, I don't think it's advisable to bake any paint that does not specify heating in the instructions. Today's paints are more durable and more user friendly than a couple decades ago. The key is to not underestimate the value of proper prep work.

Thanks for advice. The can actually does say that if you're heating it, not to exceed 200*.
I ended up not baking it because of the bondo glazing putty I had applied. I didn't want to risk expansion.

Here is the step by step progress on my headlight bucket. I welded that tubing to the back of the bucket so that it will mount up to the stock bracket. I used quick steel (JB stick) to shape it. I smoothed jt out with glazing putty, and then epoxied it.

Good job!

Just let it sit for a long time, it won't be fully cured for days or even a week or more depending on temperature.

I just baked this yesterday, about 5 minutes after spraying a heavy coat.

Here's how it's looking after curing for a couple of weeks.
I also had the bracket powder coated:

My wife ordered me (for Christmas) some revival cycle turn signals to fill the original mounting holes. I'm excited to see it all together.
