caliper bracket mounting

So i swapped the comstars on my 1980 cb650 for spoke wheels from a '76 cb750. I also swapped the front leading axle forks for normal ones off what i was told was a standard cb650. The bracket and caliper from the 650 are nowhere close to fitting the forks or larger single disc. Can anyone please tell me how far apart the mounting holes are on a 1976 cb750 caliper bracket or any other years using the same spacing? Any input is welcomed.
