Mac 2-1 questions for CX500

1: where is the best place to buy one of these for a good deal? 2: Is it fairly easy to change the muffler to a universal, like an emgo reverse cone? 3: Can you still reasonably carry a passenger with it installed?

I'm new here and this is my first post. Nice board! I've owned several bikes in the past, but most were modern or dirt/supermoto oriented. I just picked up an 80 CX500C that's got sportster pipes today that I'm planning on modifying to my taste.. first, it needs to make a little noise ;D

I have one installed on my '81 CX, and had an EMGO Shorty muffler welded on (I didn't really care for the muffler that it came with). You'll be able to retain your passenger foot pegs. I can check what the inside diameter of the muffler is, then you'd know if you can swap in any other muffler based on that dimension.

A lot of the universal mufflers should come with a reducer set. Even if they don't, www.denniskirk.com has them for like $5 a pipe.
