Starter Clutch

I have a cb360 and i removed the starter. Do i need to remove the gear in the clutch if i remove the starter. I want the option to add electric start back later on if i change my mind.

I would remove the crankshaft sprocket and clutch if it were mine. Rebuild the clutch while it is out....This way it is ready to put back in if desired....

Normally, the sprocket does not turn when the engine is running. Not sure what might be affected with it spinning, but I am always discomforted when something runs in a way that is not in its original design parameters.

I figured the same thing. Ordered a bolt for a puller thanks for the advise.
