Honda XL500S crashed and need parts
« on: Apr 20, 2018, 18:25:38 »
After bringing home my 1980 XL500S, my dad laid it down about 30 seconds later. There wasnít a lot of damage, but a couple parts are tricky to narrow down. My biggest problem is the right front foot peg mounting bracket. I know there is some interchangeability between other XL models. The photos Iíve seen donít give enough detail to know for sure.  So, Iím hoping someone out there might be able to help me. Thanks for looking and there are some great bikes on here that have all ready given me plenty of ideas.

Hereís a couple photos:

You could probably heat that up and bend it back straight.
