Anyone want to buy the 74 harley tank from this bike?

Put a 21 inch front wheel on that thing. The front end looks empty.

good lord man... someone got a raise.

i might like the tank, but i'd have to see it.

and yes, a 21 is key.

And I think the BSA tank will look WAY better that that tank will. The hardley tank has it's place, but not on this frame!

hmmm.. really good point about the front wheel... ok.. 21 inch it is...
Im gonna keep my eyes open for an old chrome BSA tank at the meet tomorrow...

Re: OH SHIT!!.. The new locO Triumph 650!!...

Some Progress... or is it Regress???.. WTF???...

So I pulled the tank off it put a 69 T120 tank on it
- the blus T120 tank is going to a body shop to get sand blastd to bare metal.. then clear coated...
Pulled the rear wheel to put on a white walled tire...
a 19 inch front wheel is going on it today..
Pulled the clubman bars and put a set or drag bars..
Rear fender and front 19inch rim is gonna get painted black

More pics to come..

Really big difference already. Progress for sure. There are very few frisco mounted tanks that I like anyhow. this tank and the way its mounted looks much better, imo. I was liking that rootbeer color though. I think clearcoated bare metal will be awesome too. Just noticed that looks like my same seat. Will the new 19 be a spool too?
Looking really good. Keep at it.

Thanks.. more pics..
I just got the tank back soda blasted... I havent mount it on the bike yet..

Just got in new gaskets for primary and rocker covers... Gonna put those in tomorrow...

Tried to fire it up and re-time the Magento... Found that the coil inside is grounded out.. so... off to British Cycle Supply I go..

Aw man... I gotta sell more of my jackets to fund this bike...

Anyone want some cool vintage jackets?

whats noel,

bike looks way better that before.
love the drag bars, can't wait to see what happens next. i have a little new project my self, traded my cd175 cafe for a cb500. just wondering if you have any parts laying around for it at your shop????
any way, looking good. whats the plan after its done?
later.

The tank looks way better than the hemroid that was stuck on it before. The bars look better....but not much. A set of lower rise standard bars would look way better imo. They would at least match the look, and flow of the bike. I'm not a chopper, nor bob fan, but that one could look pretty cool with the right parts. I wouldn't clear coat the bare metal. That's been done before by all the Marlborough man copycats. Instead let it rust a bit before clearing, or suede it.

I've got 3 sets of standard bars your welcome to. I can send them to TO with my buddy this weekend and you can grab them from him.

Let me know how I can get intouch with your buddy!

Cheers

I didn't get back to check this till now, but I sent them up there with him anyway cause he was leaving early this morning.

I'll give him a phone call and let him know you'll be getting ahold of him and then I'll shoot you his contact info. He lives in that new building across from the globe and mail. Concord Place, I think?

Damn...
Put on the newly painted 18 inch rim, fixed the Girder Forks, Slapped on the newly stripped down tank, (to measure up the mounting bracket)...

Thanks man.. naw.. Im not gonna paint it..
Actually I'll just clear coat the tank with Por-15 PC Glisten then slapp the knee pad rubbers & Triumph tank badges on..
Im still not convinced about the bars... I want them lower.. mabe put shorter risers on...

I love the lines and stance on that sucker. I can easily go with your concept except the bars. I wouldn't go any lower. I think they look pretty sleek just like that.

It combines bobber tough with racer smooth pretty nicely IMO. Keep it up.
