Some pics of the Kentucky Kickdown 2014

My bike wasn't quite finished (no seat upholstery), but what the hell, took it anyway! It was pretty cool - a hipster crowd mixed in with older Hardly types. Not quite a sea of black T-shirts and weird facial hair, but close. Ha!

I was not supposed to be up there, but I swear the emcee said "Everyone bring your bikes up". Oh well... :-D

Lots and lots of cool bikes...

If you use the IMG links Photobucket provides, the pictures will show up in your posts.

But then again, their IMG links are sometimes distorted (that's what happens when they try to get fancy with URL links).

Use the 'Direct' link, and put IMG tags on it:

{IMG}http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q56/El_NiNo_album/IMG_2910_zps9099754d.jpg{/IMG}

Just replace the { with [ brackets and you get this:

Which is still distorted, but clicking on it fixes it. My brain hurts, so I'm not trying anything else.

Tim, I believe its the actual forum software that is distorting the images. It sets the max width on images to 770px or something by default. Its configurable on the 'Layout' tab.

Looks like that silver Honda on the end decided to take a piss. :)

Miss Kentucky Kickdown. A dude with a beard won.

This bike carrying H-D was cool. Saw this old dude on the highway.

Hipsters! :)

Overheard one dude say to another that the owner of this little cb gem "did paint and body at Toyota". Killer metal flake job.

Excellent polishing on this old dirt bike. Why polish aluminum on an old dirt bike? Dunno, but he got trophies for it. Ha!

Coolest fucking things at the Kickdown, motorized bicycles. Simply awesome!

This dude on the left built this chop for his girl... in his garage! I'm not into chops, but he deserves mad credit. I used to think yoga pants couldn't be improved on. I was so wrong. His girl was killin' it in black leggings. Daaamn...

I saw the 1st bike @ Mid-Ohio...very nice paint work !!

I got kick start the twin trump t120. Man that was a flawless integration of the two.

The chopper builder is a friend of mine, Ethan Stiles, it took him less than a year and half to build that gem if I remember right.

Miss KKD needed a razor to shave her hairy pits..... shutters.

Man that looked so familiar I finally realized why.
I stopped at that bar for a burger and a beer a month or so ago on my way through louisville!

Ha! I knew he would win. Yeah, that was a good time. I had to keep leaving because my kids just didn't have the stamina to hang out there all day. Me, I was happy as a clam. Luckily, we have family in Louisville, so I just ran the kids back to their great grandmother's. Food at the Fish House across the street was damn tasty as well. I'm going back next year for sure. I plan to bring my XV750 project.
