Honda C100 Throttle Not Working

Hello all,

Wondering if someone can help me.. I have a 1965 Honda C100 and I am trying to get the throttle to spring back. I tore everything apart. Degreased it and re oiled everything and I put a new cable on the throttle. But it still wont recoil. If i take the grip off and pull on the cable it will come back.. but once I put the grip back on it wont do anything. Just pull back and then nothing. Just stays back.

Any help is appreciated.

I have same problem and have learned to live with it. We might need a Fresh or stronger spring on Carb slide.

maybe your grip is just rubbing your headlight switches or whatever, had the same problem, just pulled the grip back a bit and solved

It could be the grip rubbing on the switch case or on the end of the bar.
