Dont have the money to powder coat the frame so im just leaving it black and doing some touch up. Tank is gonna be white with a red stripe down the top and red yamaha badge. May paint trim ring around knee indentions.
Thanks for the input I will be sure to make it happen. Should I make the black touch the red or have white space between?
Also here is the video of me trying to start it for the first time after going through all the wiring and replacing most connections. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tucAuDGXKBs
Also it just has to original tank on there for running it since my other tank is not ready. And it looks like I am kind of a pussy trying to start it but I might add that it almost broke my foot right before this so I was hesitant.
Finally I am getting back to work on my 650. I have been playing with a kz900 and several other bikes that I recently picked up. Also built a new work space so that took up a lot of time. Just sanded down my tank tonight so I can throw some color on it.
Head light came from dime city. http://www.dimecitycycles.com/vintage-cafe-racer-caferacer-bobber-brat-chopper-customer-motorcycle-lighting-parts-7-inch-chrome-british-headlight-bucket-6635-26.html
Here is a pic after I made the mount for the tank. Also worked on the seat pan a little more and I am still trying to figure out how I am going to mount it.
