Does anybody know a good inline filter for a ducati 750ss which will not slow down the fuel flow and thus power at the top?

I ultrasonic cleaned my carbs, and fitted an overhaulset with new float needles. Was fine at first, but now have leaky carbs. I think there is some debris at the bottom of the tank as the previous owner stalled it ( dry and warm though ) without any fuel.

there's a filter in the fuel tank. have you checked that?

any filter that size will be fine to feed that engine.

There is indeed, I will replace it. Removed it yesterday date stamp is ‘09.... 10 years old ....

I thought adding an extra one in the fuel line might catch some extra.

doubt it, they're a pretty good filter. i doubt much will be getting through it. make sure the return side is clear too, that can cause issues.

cleaning the tank out would be a better way to go about it.

Though I do not think this would have passes the Fuel filter or the filter in front of the pump.

Cleaned the carbs again... looked like cotton... could it be the old filter has been disintegrating ? It has been standing dry for a while according to PO..

The fuel filter clogging the carbs ?
