Gas covered bike help

Hose it off immediately? The fumes should evaporate rather quickly but it still would be bad for paint and rubber if it lingered more than a little bit. Whenever I've spilled gas on a bike, I always wipe it up immediately with an old but absorbent rag and then take a clean wet rag over it.

Dawn dish detergent.

Make up a dilute solution of it in a bucket of water and pour it over the bike. Rinse then repeat.

I would think a garden hose would get the majority off, then ride up the road to your nearest car wash and put a little pressure behind it.
