Hey man I noticed the Chrome ones are in stock (http://goo.gl/j8aFf) , are you holding out for the black ones? Am I right in saying those chrome ones are the same/will fit as blacks (http://goo.gl/tF7Yb)?
I might just go with the chromes, maybe even paint them myself if needed later down the road.

Sick, I might just cave for the chromes..i need to check my bank account first though..might have to wait a bit after i see that hahaha

Updates:

Just paypaled Sullivan for his CL175 pipes.
taillight, rearsets, stock airboxes ,and CL pipes are in the mail, can't wait till they get here!

how hard is it to replace rear shocks? the manual I got says to use a "spring compressor" to remove them...do I really need that?

Nope - they are a bolt on affair. The spring compressor is needed if you rebuild the originals.

One thing though - you might have to mess with the upper and lower shock bushings to get them to fit. Maybe even re-use the originals.

Ok good to know, thanks Rich!

do you have a link to the stock air boxes for the 200? did they come with filters? I was trying to look for some yesterday but couldn't find them. Thanks in advance!

I got them off ebay used, so search around, I saw a bunch on there...actually here's one for cheaper than what I got mine for:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-CB200-CB-200-air-boxes-air-cleaner-assemblies-airbox-set-/330770356803?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4d03731a43&vxp=mtr#ht_500wt_1180

I got mine for 25 bucks plus shipping, so the ones above are a deal!

I've heard of people burning out the insides and then replacing it with something like this Uni Air Filter Bulk Filter Foam: { http://goo.gl/EkD1W }

chinese face mask: { http://goo.gl/hETFZ }
tire irons: { http://goo.gl/hlNEM }

If anyone knows a way to get the stock airboxes on without taking off the carbs I'd love to hear it! Laziness...

If not I'm hopefully taking the whole bike apart later this week so I'll throw em on then.

I just ordered that face mask. I'm in nyc and I feel the grit in my lungs after crossing the queensboro bridge everyday, it's a steal at $7 unless it turns out to be made from paper.

Good luck finaggleling the airboxes. The carbs shouldn't be hard to remove. Just disconnect the fuel and throttle/choke cables, then loosen the cuffs connecting them the the motor.

I have that exact same light on my bike. First thing it is easy to install, all it takes is a couple of bolts behind the light. Watch out for the wiring though it is all backwards. The yellow wire=ground, red wire=brake light, black wire=running light.

thanks for the info. I think this is the burning technique you were referring to. http://bit.ly/PkQLkM

Alright, updates:

Tires came in, they look great, went to go put them on last night but quickly realized it was going to take me longer than I hoped.

Trying to get the front wheel off I took apart the disc break (mistake #1) which took me around 30 minutes to figure out how to put back together haha

So I learned the hard way that to take that off I should disconnect it at the handlebars (my best guess). Speedo cable and everything looks easy enough, just the manual I got doesn't cover the disc break so I was stumped on that one for a bit.
