Hello I'm building a hartail frame DOHC 81 cb750. I have just ordered front gsxr srad forks and brakes (the later models are super expensive in Australia) I won't to do spoke wheels and I've read all the threads. The Harley narrow glide conversion is good. I was wondering if anyone has the measurements bearing to bearing of an xvs 1000 front wheel (already duel disk). I like it because they were 16inch (put bigger walled speedmaster tire) front instead of the 18inch standard narrow glide HD.
The rear wheel isn't a big issue as the hardtail I can put pretty much any wheel i want (the xvs 1100 is a nice fat rear too)
Anyone know the measurements of xvs1100 wheels or heard of anyone attempting the conversion. The Srad forks are wider I believe (136.5mm). Thanx.
