What did you build this week?

I built a welding cart for my new Hobart 125

Thank you! A buddy that was hanging out looked over and said what are you using those bars for? An idea was born haha

In a good way.

Having never done that before, do you just set the shop saw on say 10 degrees and make pie cuts and then tig all the pieces together (like for chambers), or are you cutting pie cuts out of a straight tube, bending it and welding it back up?
i start with straight tube, for a tight bend i cut 5 degrees on one side then flip n cut the other side 5 degrees. For less bend i cut 2.5 degrees. If you know the radius you want you can lay it out n figure what angle will work best. Then they're cleaned n welded together

Damn, y'all had a lot more fun than I did.
I turned this...

And then did this...

Basically... Yea :p

When you get this far south, the yard kinda sinks away from the house over time. Every few years you have to "fill" the yard to keep it up to grade.
It wasn't real bad, but there were several spots where the yard was lower than the sidewalks. It'll take a few weeks, but the grass will grow back up through and cover it all up. In the meantime though, the stray cats in the neighborhood are having a field day ::)

I'm interested as well.

Not so much me, but some programming and my robot made this haha

The son and I built this manly cake for the wife's b-day tomorrow. Hope it survives.

Had a guy ask if I could do some sort of fallen soldier sign to mount on the flag poles that he has attached to his bike for parades. Spent some time in Adobe Illustrator, AutoCad Inventor and Solidworks, then finally CAMDuct before it hit our laser table... 30" Tall, 14" wide. One of the guys started hitting it with spray paint before I stopped him, thus the black spot on the helmet. We're going to make a couple dozen of these and have them powder coated I think
