Been pulling a few late (at least for me) nighters trying to button up some loose ends on this thing. I used teazers patented CAD (cardboard aided design) to make up an inner fender well out of .080" aluminum. Traced it, cut it on the band saw and then rolled in a couple beads for a bit more rigidity. It should serve to keep the doo doo mud away from the rest of the bike well enough.
I also had to make up a #kustom exhaust guard, because I'm not going to pay stupid eBay money for the right one
The atc tank doesn't have a petcock, as on the original bikes, the petcock was mounted directly to the carb. To remedy this, I put a ball valve in line as well as a fuel filter. For things that don't have to come apart often, I like using safety wire instead of those little devil clips. Yeah, y'all know which ones I'm talking about....
Also, I mounted up a number plate on each side, and one on the front as well, at least until I get the dual ruckus lights mounted and wired. Irk is going to print me up some numbers. There's a bit of method to this madness. I am contemplating running the old tw200 in a hare scramble event at mid Ohio this year, and to pass tech, you need number plates.
