The SkyTeam 'Ace' Resource

I'm not too worried about the back pressure side of things, I'm going for the slip on initially and will review.

Cheers dude :)

The first half of my daily commute is more mundane but that last 5 miles makes up for it especially on the days I get a clear run

ace ..do the pipe..mine needs rejetting or at least needle moved up a bit.......but have a hard time keeping it under 90. 38 mm header that goes back past bracket and small megaphone (was baffled at rear but has a hole through it now at aprox 18mm).see right through front to back. not too loud . close to double the power i had out of the box. Iridium plug is good. egr mod did little.
if you just take the front cat out i am sure you will get the biggest power gain you will have had to date. it will always be a small 4 stroke single but there are gains to be had for little effort.

biggest difference i have noticed with removing egr is no longer need to use choke on starting.

cant wait to get rid of that cat...

Taking Jessica over the Cat & Fiddle which for those that don't know is officially Britains most dangerous road when it comes to accident stats

Part of Jessicas first long trip :)

Looks like a enjoyable piece of road Mikey!

Jessica performed well; I don't know what to say about the weather except that you Brit riders are a stoical lot.

Crazy

Hey that was a nice day up there, at least it wasn't blowing a gale or snowing :)

For reference the Pub at the end is the second highest in Britain 1690 ft/ 515m above sea Level

Warrington is pretty much at Sea level & the point I started filming is about 800ft /243m above sea level

That's a long way down South on a little saddle Mike ! Have a good trip - weather doesn't look to be too bad ;)

The seat was actually more comfortable than I thought it would be. Problem was my shoulders started to ache after about 90 miles but I think that was more down to the rucksack than anything.

[me=mikeyw64]makes mental note to post clothing ahead next time and not bring laptop lol[/me]

That is an impressive trip on the Ace Mike - especially when you had the choice of the big uns !

Though I seem to have fun on the 125s now , my trip to Spain this year - not exactly on subject but..

I thought I would spin the handlebar round for the dropped look, but the brake line hits top of the forks, any suggestions?

Worked it out, had to compromise on how far I spun the bars but still looks much better, feels better too!

Duct tape on the bar works a treat too! Thanks for the suggestion Mike!

Photos this time, much better now!

Might need to adjust the brake/clutch lever position a bit, but it's bucketing down so no way to test properly yet!
