  • I think Eastwood sells them, or someplace like that, they are inexpensive, someone posted a nice set for fair price a while ago, but I forget where LOL

  • The pump works but if it had a check vakve its broken, not going to pay 50 when I can pay 10
  • Sep 19, 2018, 10:23:28
  • Maritime:
  • Yep found some on Amazon for ike 10 bucks
  • Sep 19, 2018, 10:21:12
  • advCo:
  • Can you put an inline check valve?
  • Sep 19, 2018, 10:05:03
  • Maritime:
  • They are 50+ to replace so I will put a check valve in to keep fuel in the filter and float bowl for better starts after sitting
  • Sep 19, 2018, 10:00:09
  • Maritime:
  • Ah so google tells me it is a vacuum fuel pump so really is just a valve and has likely failed in the open setting so it's a fancy check valve LOL
  • Sep 19, 2018, 09:55:22
  • Maritime:
  • So the repair manual for the hyosung is so good, I looked up fuel pump to see if it had a check valve and it says "Replace by unscrewing bolt plugging the hoses to prevent the escaping of fuel, install reverse of removal"

  • That happened to me on my GS500. Charged me taxes on the highest book value.
  • Sep 19, 2018, 09:46:27
  • advCo:
  • Yeah I hate that they appraise stuff off of NADA or blue book.

  • Sep 19, 2018, 09:42:00
  • Maritime:
  • If I argue I need to pay for an appraisal and they cost 50-75 bucks so screwed either way
  • Sep 19, 2018, 09:35:12
  • Maritime:
  • Yep, that would suck. I'm going to get screwed when I transfer the title on the scooter, I paid 200 for it but they will blue book value it and it will be 1000 value and I'll pay 150+ 45 to register it. instead of 30+45
  • Sep 19, 2018, 09:34:20
  • advCo:
  • Thats a complete brake, suspension and steering overhaul + worth of parts
  • Sep 19, 2018, 09:25:46
  • advCo:
  • Its a step in the right direction. If I get a bonded title it will probably cost $1000 or more because they appraise them high
  • Sep 19, 2018, 09:25:28
  • Maritime:
  • Nice
  • Sep 19, 2018, 09:22:19
