Moto Guzzi Cafe Racer project

Seat unit slowly getting there. I'm in the process of making some stays for the subframe plates to bolt to the footrest plates, should have that done tonight.\
At the back of the plates, i have a light that bolts on. One that all fits, i'll machine out some seat plate with some funky grooves and then anodise them.
Then I guess I'll use a ducati 1098 type of seat and make some brackets to fit up. After that a seat hump over the back. I am trying to get All the electronics under the tank one some brackets against the frame. Only electrics in the subframe will be for the stop light and indicators. This will make changing back to the original subframe and seat pretty easy.

Haven't been doing much on the bike, been too busy at work
One thing that has been holding up progress is how to buy or make velocity stacks.
There were some plastic ones that are 3D printed but i just couldn't.
I like machined parts. Which us of course why i went to the trouble of getting a lathe and mill to make bits.
So ive been searching machining forums to see how to make the inside radius curve on the billet and still after a month of looking i can't find anyone who is as silly as me to want to do it.
There is no off the shelf tool so i had to design and make it myself.
Two parts to this. Firstly i want pod filters and secondly i want proper stacks.

Anyway... heres how they turned up.

Very nice work, but I cannot fully understand the jig? Imagine it rotates around a centre pivot? More photos would be cool if it is not too late.
Cheers

Heres a pic from the top. It turns at the centre and since the tool is offset it cuts in a circular motion.

Damn you beat me to it!!! I wanted to do a very similar tail on one of my projects... had been thinking about it for a while I just never actually got around to doing it.

It looks great your execution is probably much better than mine would be.

Thanks,
I guess there are plenty of options for the execution as well. Thats the beauty.

That is one bad lookin' Guzzi. I had a chance to ride a California 1100cc model some years back. I was impressed with the power characteristics of that motor and how nimble the chassis was. This thing looks like it will most definitely be a fun ride.

And that exhaust is pure sex.

Most people who have never ridden a guzzi wouldnt believe just how good they are. This is a 95hp motor and its lighter t han stock. Will be fun for sure.

Last Sunday, Brisbane had its largest Motorcycles show with about 4000 people walking through and 180 bikes on show. Laverda Concours 2017.
There were a LOT of nice bikes this year including some major standouts like a CX500 and an Egli Vincent to name but a few.
My fav was a lovely Guzzi powered Morgan 3wheeler.
