Hey guys I am almost done my build but I can't seem to get the clutch adjusted. I have done the adjustment as per instructions I found on DTT and a few youtube videos but I just can't seem to get the clutch to engage. I am wondering if there is a way to test the clutch? A way to force engage it to make sure it is working.

Has the motor sat for a long time without being ridden? The clutch pack may just be stuck.

Try putting the front wheel up to wall and feather the clutch out, letting it slip as you increase revs.

Just remove lever and let cable be loose or, you could remove the sprocket cover instead just in case you over adjusted pushrod
Put it in gear and roll it backwards.
If clutch is assembled properly it will be engaged.
If you had it apart, good possibility you didn't assemble it properly

A little more description of the problem and a little background of the bike would be useful.

?
If clutch isn't engaged there isn't any drive between rear wheel and crankshaft.

Hey guys thanks for your help. The clutch pack was just stuck. Bump started the bike and that seem to do the trick.
