My bike is leaking oil from the clutch push bar oil seal.
I am not sure if this is the original oil seal or if something that the previous owner put to solve the problem.
I am buying the original oil seal but before I take the bike to a mechanic I need to know if is necesary to open the engine or not to make the change.
If not, do you thing I can do it by myself?
The cases will have to be split to replace the seal.
As far as I know that seal is no longer available from the dealer.
I have seen a valve stem seal used. The valve seal for this engine
[and most other Kawasakis of this era] is 7mm. The same size
as the clutch push rod. It is attached to the old seal to prevent
leakage around the push rod.
