Going to pick this up in the a.m. 2017 7'x16' with a 2' V. Was looking new, but all the cutting and welding I'm going to do on it is going to void the warranty anyhow. Save about $2,400 over a new one.

Wow you got a big one!!!

I bought this 1986 xr600r frame to transfer my 1984 xr500r "everything else" onto. Guy i got it from pulled a good one over on me, in that it was supposed to have forks with it and it was supposed to be straight. The forks were sold a while back and the cradle has bashed it's share of rocks.... but I drove over 2 hours one way to get it, so I guess the tweaker wins this one.

My shop is on the busiest road in the city. I've been wanting to join the food truck craze, and put a BBQ trailer out front. That'll be a good one for it. Maybe do the state fair, see about getting in at COTA for MotoGP weekend.

Food trucks (and trailers) get booked months in advance here in Pittsburgh. If you can stand the insane hours there is money to be made.

Barrel for my SB200 into a 400/4 frame project.....a £30 ($45) ebay bargain as it included the carb inlets that sell for £25 alone.

Barrel looked nasty in the image but it was protective wax. Washed it off and it's in better condition than the existing one. Possibly don't need a rebore...just a thorough honing and clean up ;)

A small but significant result I reckon.

Project Suzonda can progress now.

I'm trying to book up big events. Not so much a day to day thing. Too busy in the shop for that. Maybe a couple days a week from 10-2. Catch the lunch crowd. State Fair does around 450,000 folks through the gates. We have a big car show that does 250,000ish, and Bikes, Blues, and BBQ is the second largest bike rally these days, at around a half mill yearly, and quite a few festivals and such north of 100K patrons over the weekend.

Should make for some fun anyways. Everybody loves good BBQ.

First batch of three phase stators for the Honda CB350 and 360. ;D

Oh hell, no. I tried to do one and quickly determined that a specific set of skills were required. Skills which I do not possess. :p

That is why I asked. Those type of windings are a PITA!!!! I hope they work out for you. As you know, there is a market for them.

90s ford escorts put them in a bad spot too. Plus they use little torx wrenches that like to strip.
Escorts had all sorts of problems with rust, battery would fall through onto passenger in British ones

Bought another motor for my tw200. This one "supposedly" ran with 1800 miles on the ticker. Seller thinks it needs a stator as it would run until it got hot and then quit, but run again after it cooled off. To me it sounds like it could be an ignition coil to. Either way, everything looks in order, including red rtv on a case cover gasket. Lol

Yay! And it doesn't look like it was drop kicked off the back of a UPS truck.

Yep, looked pretty good for being shipped in a Rubbermaid container. Seller packed it well, besides the bottom, where is was sitting on a single piece of cardboard. To me, that's where most of the damage woulda been done, but all is well that ends well.

Still getting used to this place. Newest purchase (a flood of parts coming in right with two builds going - I really need to just make this a business and not a hobby). is an SV650 rear wheel to fit to my triumph that is getting a GSXR front end.
